This role involves managing social media platforms, creating compelling content, and developing innovative marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn).
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging and high-quality content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Monitor trends in the African, Asian, and Caribbean food industry and incorporate them into social media campaigns.
- Run paid social media advertisements to increase brand awareness and sales conversions.
- Engage with customers, respond to inquiries, and manage community interactions on social platforms.
- Track and analyse social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and seasonal offers.
- Manage influencer partnerships and brand collaborations to expand reach.
- Stay updated on social media algorithms, tools, and best practices to optimise content strategy.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
- Ability to create visually appealing content using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
- Experience in paid social media advertising and campaign optimisation.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Passion for African, Asian, and Caribbean food products is a plus.
