Job Purpose
Ofoodi Limited is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to optimise our supply chain operations, particularly in sourcing and managing African food products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing data, improving procurement efficiency, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse supply chain data and performance to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve cost-efficiency and reliability.
- Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure stock availability to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to streamline operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead times, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
- Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to enhance sourcing strategies.
- Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
- Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets and control supply chain costs.
- Ensure compliance with UK import/export regulations, supplier contracts, and internal policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or procurement.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience working with international suppliers, particularly in the African food sector, is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.(Not Essential)
