Job Overview
Ofoodi Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Shop Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for customers. This role is crucial in maintaining high store standards, optimising sales, and ensuring inventory availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the store is well-stocked, organised, and visually appealing to customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team for timely restocking.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Implement sales promotions and ensure proper display of promotional materials.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales, transactions, and stock movements.
- Process payments and ensure smooth operation of the checkout system.
- Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are followed in the store.
- Conduct periodic checks on product quality, expiration dates, and pricing accuracy.
- Coordinate with the management team to improve store operations and efficiency.
- Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience in retail, store operations, or a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer service challenges.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and retail sales strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems is an advantage.
- Passion for African, Asian, and Caribbean food products is a plus.
